I swapped my thesis and topic from waste of money and student harassment etc.,,to "Police Brutality". It was really hard to find research materials for college police. It is the law that all campus police records are supposed to be readily accessible by the public,, lol ha! good luck with that. However looking for materials on Police corruption or brutality? Holy rusted metal batman!!!! Dude There is so much documentation on the rampant police brutality in this country that takes place in one form or another on some level every day in every county in this country! I could make a full time career for the rest of my life looking at just the documentation and videos and pictures available of Police recklessly rampaging all over citizens civil and constitutional rights. Look for yourselves keep in mind it could happen to any one us.

Um, I am retarded and am not a good writer,lol. I would like to improve everything,most in particular,,,, definately handwriting. I have horrible penmanship. I am just learning this whole MLA format thing and need to improve on that as well.
What makes a good writer? I would say above all else, it would have to be descriptiveness. great descriptive abilities to put the reader in the place and time the work is written about. Tolkein was my favorite writer when I was young. Writers like that paint the picture for your mind and you are actualy there. An extensive vocabulary and great use of adjectives would be the key to great writer in my opinion.

My writing professor,Mrs Tortoro,wanted us to post a few topics we would be interested in researching for our class.The only real guideline for choosing these topics,is that they should be of interest to the student.

1; Is Campus police really keeping students safe?Or is this just a p.r. scam,for a few to benefit financially,as is typical of most law enforcement agencies?
a:how many sexual or violent assaults a year on campus to warrant such extensive [expensive] police force?
b:are students being protected or harassed by having so many police on campus?
c:is the underlying directive of campus police to keep students safe,or to harass and write as many tickets etc as possible to keep revenue coming into police department?
d:why when polled,most students have never needed nor wanted the assistance of campus police.to the contrary most students feel they are being harassed,and targeted,by campus police.So why are they here?students pay for the school,so why are they financially being plundered by campus police?
e:when and why did campus police seem to stop being about protecting safety and physical well being of its students,and switch focus to shearing as much money as possible from the collective student body?
f:are pricey tickets for smoking and parking really worth the financial expense of such an overwhelming police force?or does the harassment of students and nickel and dimming them for victimless offenses like smoking,not only pay for the existing police force but help justify their never ending expansion.
g:instead of a dozen police harassing students,and all of their [police] cars trucks expensive equipment,and salary's,would the student body be better off with teachers salary's in place of police?trade cops and equipment,for teachers and computers,and classrooms?how many computers could our class get a deal on for the expense of one 35,000 cop car?or one 50,000 a year salary for a policeman?

Hi professor and class.I hate computers,but here i am cause i want a good grade.I am 29,i live in cherry valley.I am a full time student now.I have a substantial license that has allowed me to live on the coast,make a great living and travel from alaska to past the tip of Baja [Cabo san Lucas].I am now back in school for a back up career in healthcare.I am a respiratory therapy major,and figure you can't go wrong with healthcare.I'm a total dork have nothing else to say for now.I'm pretty sure everyone in class will be forced to read whatever i post here,so i'll stop now so you can move onto someone cute or interesting,lol. later
